The rise of digital trade has triggered profound changes in the pattern of international trade interest distribution and exerted multiple complex impacts on the enhancement of a country's competitiveness. Based on cross-country panel data of 37 countries from 2000 to 2020, this paper empirically studies the impact of digital trade on the improvement of national export competitiveness. The research conclusions show that digital trade significantly enhances a country's export competitiveness, and this finding not only enriches the research results in related fields but also provides useful reference for understanding the new changes in contemporary international trade.
